Spangsberg x Represented

Campaign Objective

Spangsberg started as a small chocolate factory in the Danish town of Taastrup and is now a leading national manufacturer of chocolate-covered marshmallows. The primary focus of this campaign was the ultimate #lifehack of the summer, where the chocolate-covered marshmallows were frozen and enjoyed as a summer dessert. We activated 42 micro influencers to create entertaining content that showcased this clever trick and life hack.

The campaign objective was to increase awareness of “Summer’s lifehack: frozen chocolate-covered marshmallows” and thereby increase sales in stores. In less than 48 hours, we found and briefed all 42 micro influencers on the campaign. Shortly thereafter, we launched the campaign.

Spangsberg achieved an impressive engagement rate, even though there was no direct digital CTA (Call-To-Action) in the Instagram posts, as the chocolate-covered marshmallows are sold in physical retail stores that sell Spangsberg’s products. Moreover, Spangsberg now has the rights and access to a large content bank with user-generated content that can be applied across their marketing-mix.
