SF Studios wanted to create awareness about the new movie “I Wanna Dance with Somebody”, which is about the singer Whitney Houston, when it launched in the Danish cinemas. Within the limits of the budget, we decided to activate one macro influencer who is passionate about dance and music herself and uses it in her content on social media. Therefore, she was a perfect match for the campaign.
The macro influencer integrated the campaign in her dancing universe and performed a Whitney Houston-inspired dance to the 1987 hit “I Wanna Dance with Somebody”. The influencer created an Instagram Reel, where she dances in a cinema and changes between a range of 80’s inspired outfits like there is no tomorrow.

It resulted in a very creative Instagram Reel and Stories filmed in a cinema, setting the perfect tone for the film. In addition to meeting all our wishes, it also perfectly matched the influencer’s profile and usual content, and it therefore received a really positive reception from her followers.
