Since 2008, Five Units has been designing pants that women love and that can be worn by every individual. Therefore, we created an ambassador partnership between Five Units and mega influencer Ditte Estrup and macro influencer Julie Elgaard. The collaboration with the influencers was established to support Five Units in reaching their target audience in a new and innovative way – online as well as offline.
The campaign included a variety of different publications on the influencers’ platforms to create brand awareness, and the content format of hauls was activated to drive traffic to Five Units’ webshop. The influencers created their own content, but a professional photographer was also hired, so both the influencers and Five Units had plenty of campaign footage in high quality for usage on their platforms, such as website, social media, newsletters and POS material. The campaign also included commercial rights to all the content, allowing Five Units to use the content in both their paid and organic communication channels.
Both influencers participated in an interview, which Five Units published on their website to tell about the ambassador partnership, along with the company values and pants. Rights to activate the interview as advertorials in print magazines were also included.
The campaign included not only digital elements, but also an exclusive physical event during Copenhagen Fashion Week, where the influencers and Five Units invited industry professionals and influencers to a networking event with a presentation of their new collection.
POS campaign material was created with Ditte Estrup and Julie Elgaard. Five Units placed the POS material in store windows during fashion week to drive traffic to their physical stores.
Throughout the whole campaign, the focus has been both on B2B and B2B, as Five Units’ goal has been to increase traffic to their own D2C-webshop, but also to attract new wholesale clients and thereby grow the company’s B2B sales. Shortly after the launch of the campaign, Five Units received the first proactive inquiries from new potential retailers, who had noticed the campaign and have now become customers.
